What You Need
- Pink or light purple onesie
- Yellow felt
- White felt
- Black felt
- Pink felt
- Scissors
- Hot glue gun
- White pompoms
- Headband
- Cardboard
Directions
- First, take your pink or light purple onesie and lay it flat. Cut two long ear shapes out of the yellow felt and glue them onto the top of the onesie.
- For the eyes, cut two circular shapes out of the white felt and one smaller circular shape out of the black felt. Glue the black felt onto the center of the white circle, then glue the eyes onto the onesie above the nose.
- Cut out a small triangle shape from the pink felt. This will be the nose. Glue it onto the onesie between the eyes.
- For the tail, take a long piece of yellow felt and cut a zigzag pattern along the edge. Roll it up and glue white pompoms onto the end. Attach to the back of the onesie with glue.
- For the hands and feet, cut out oval shapes from the yellow felt. Cut out smaller oval shapes from the white felt and glue them onto the center of the yellow ovals. Attach to the arms and legs of the onesie with glue.
- To make the Roo ears headband, cut two small ear shapes out of the cardboard. Cover them with yellow felt and glue them onto a headband.
And there you have it! A cute and easy-to-make Roo costume that your child will love. Customize it with additional felt shapes or accessories for a unique touch.
